More information is needed:-

How long is the project?

Do you get any error messages?

What settings are you using for the DVD burn?

What make and type of discs are you using?

Is the video complete if you use the Image Recorder option instead of the DVD burner, when asked to Encode all etc select Encode all.

You can use VLC to play the resulting DVD files located in the folder specified in your programs settings for the Folder pathsDisc Image location.

Thank you for your input.  Video is 23 min. 240 pictures with music. A little over 1 Mb no error messages.  Using regular DVD setting.Will try image recorder but will that include the music and text overlays?  It burns only first 6 minutes of show.  I will follow up this evening with more info.  Thanks again.
