Johnphoto- UR not alone on this one! Me-to, do you use Adobe Elements by chance?

This is a very frustrating situation right out of the box. It happens to some folders but not all?

Hi johnphoto, are those folders write protected etc by any chance? Try running the program as administrator, i.e. via right click on the program icon and clicking on the option there. Not sure which version you are using.  Could well be a rights issue.

Hi,

Try putting photos in folder on your desktop, then import from there.

I had similar problem with importing video, one was corrupt & system crashed.
