hi all... just new to all this..... yesterday, i purchased magix music maker 17, and then spent about 8 hours downloading all the instrument packages and sound files etc to add.... then i installed them into my program... which worked fine.......

in the settings i pressed the reset soundpools as i had a number of duplicates... but then i lost all the sounds i had spent 8 hours downloading..... now it says i have to download them all again, but surely they have saved somewhere on my pc so i can just re-install, but i cant find them..... HELP PLEASE!!!

Hi,

No problem, first you already have downloaded contents on your pc right other than Music Maker.

Open Music Maker on compuer key board click Y key and a Program settings window will be opened click on Folder TAB then you can see where all items are saved in your case you want to know about soundpool located Soundpool and see the pather where files are saved.

Or for more details check this pdf tutorial with text and images. I had made this for MMM 16 but rules are same even in MMM 17.

For your duplicate sound pool

When music maker is opened, on keyboard click Y key under General tab look at right below you will see a checked box Use installed soundpool even after reset. Uncheck it and click ok for more details you can also refer
