I've recently had to completely uninstall and reinstall VPX4 following a series of crashes of the program. (I suspect the crashes were caused by user error!)
However, following the reinstall I notice that several of the DVD Menu layouts which were available previously are no longer shown. I still have VPX 3 installed so opened it and all the menus I "expected" to see were there, so I wonder whether at some time previous I had found these "older version" templates and moved them to the appropriate folder in VPX4. Now, I can't find these menu templates anywhere, but they clearly are somewhere on my computer. (I have also discovered I can edit in VPX4, save the project open it and"create" the menu layout in VPX3, using one of these "missing" templates, save the project, re-open it in VPX4 and the "old" menu layout is kept even though VPX4 doesn't show it as available!)
So, does anyone know where VPX stores the DVD menus/layouts/templates so I can make them available to VPX4 without the workaround of having to open VPX3, create the menu layout I want, save the project and then open it in VPX4 in order to create the DVD Image file? (Just in case anyone wonders why I choose to burn in VPX4 rather than 3; in my experience the VPX4 burn is somewhat "quicker" than 3.)
TIA.
Jeff
OK. I'll answer my own question (in case anybody else should encounter this problem.) As might be expected they're in C:\Program Data\MAGIX\(Program and Version)\DVD. Obvious really, isn't it?!! So I now have all my menu templates available again in VPX4.
