When I try to burn my slideshow, it cannot find burner

I've been so confused with this. Whenever I try to burn my slideshow, it says my program cannot burn the DVD. Is there a program I need? What should I do?

check to see if your disk is formatted first. Those instructions can be found on your computer program that burns CD's. You may simply have a bad blank DVD
