Whats the best way to share a project between two networked Windows 10

Hi everyone,

Although I've used this software over several versions there is a question which I'd like to ask.

What's the best way to share a project between two networked Windows 10? One is primarily for editing, the other mastering.

The files are scattered around various folders on two drives and a NAS. MS 2024 is setup independently on both PCs.

Now on Movie Studio 2024 Platinum.

I find it is best is to have all the files for a given project in a 'master' folder - this is the structure I use.

To avoid filename clashes images and video from my different cameras are segregated as seen above.

Working between to computers, I synchronise the project using SyncBack, after the initial sync only changed files are copied.

Keeping projects and files together in the above folder makes archiving easy, and in the event of needing to revisit the project everything is in there ready for re-working.

If you are intending to be working on the same project/media files on the NAS, using both computers at the same time do be aware you may get conflicts, file locking issues and unexpected behaviours.
