what is the quality level or bit depth of the files Music maker works with? I have Music Maker 16.

The WAV and OGG files in the MMM soundpools are 16-bit, 44.1 kHz. The maximum in MMM is 16-bit, 48 kHz.

You can choose the audio sample rate in the Arrangement Settings ('E' key), General tab. 44.1 kHz is the default.

Samplitude can do 24/32-bit at even higher sample rates.
