What happened to Photo Manager12 Deluxe?

dstrege08 wrote on 5/19/2013, 1:08 AM

I just upgraded from Photo Manager 2013 to Photo Manaager 12 Deluxe. The promo was so good I decided I need the upgrade. I hadn't done alot with the 2013, so I thought now that I upgraded, perhaps I need to view some tutorials and check out the forums on Photo Manager xx. Where are they?

Under tutorials<Photo nothing. Forums,,,this is the closet I could get, and frankly there aren't too many comments about Photo Manager 12.Manager information? I can see the music maker prog is doing well. There are tons of tutorials and forum activity.

I'm just wondering if I should continue my search for support materials? If there aren't any, that's cool, the joke is on me. If there are some, I guess I need some help in finding them.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

. . . . I just upgraded from Photo Manager 2013 to Photo Manaager 12 Deluxe . . .

AFAIK there has not been a Photomanager Deluxe 2013 version.

The previous versions were Photomanager Deluxe 10 and MX (ie vers 11).

Please check that you are referring to the correct software products.

John

Hi John,

I did not have the exact version available when I posted the question, and found it a little less relevant considering I was generalizing my question to all "photo" tutorials. I included the "2013" because I know I got Photo Manager with my Magix Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium purchase..

I have already deleted the old version of Photo Manager before I installed the new "12" version. Looking at my email that came with the order confirmation and S/N it is called "MAGIX Photo Manager MX Deluxe." I also remember when I opened the program Help button under "About" it listed version 9.x.x.xxx.

Does this additional information better define where I might find any "photo" tutorials on Magix's website?

I also understand by reading that the new Photo Manager 12 has an updated GUI. I realize that may make some of the available tutorials a little less specific if the menus or options have changed. I am just looking for overall help in using the Magix Photo Manager. Many times concepts transfer between versions.

Thank you for your reply. I look forward to hearing that I'm just missing the "photo" tutorials, and that they are here someone.

Hi

Thanks for the clarification.

There are, as yet, very few tutorials available for version 12 - it has only recently been released.

Most of the principals will be the same as the MX version - it will be a matter of finding the relocated tools and menu items and experimenting with the new options/tools.

. . . If there aren't any, that's cool, the joke is on me. . . . .

Not really - it is just that you are an early adopter of the new version - why not create a few tutorials for the forum, and post them in the Tutorial section, as you find your way round the software.
