@Robert-Stevenson

Hi

Trial versions have limited functionality, to get all the features you need to purchase the full version.

This is a little frustrating as this is the feature I wanted to test. Does anyone know if you can edit the "date taken" on the photos? Some photos don't have proper metadata and in other software I am testing, show the date taken as the imported date...however I want to edit this so it places / categories the photos correctly. Not keen to buy the software if it doesn't functionally do what I need it to.

@Trish-Alexander

Hi

. . . . edit the "date taken" on the photos . . . .

To do this in Photo Manager, for a single image right click the image and select Correct file date and set the correct date/time

For multiple images where they all have the same date/time offset ie the camera date/time was set wrong - select all the images to be changed and using the Correct file date set the difference - see example below, note you can set + and - date/time adjustments.

Do note that not all program use the Date Taken EXIF data, many use the Date Modified for the creation date of the image.

HTH
