Web Designer Premium v. 18 Startup Error & Gallery Widget Vanished

Hey there. First off, I want to say that I love Web Designer - when it works, lol. I'm running Windows 10, and using Xara Web Designer Premium v. 18. I have had a couple of recurring issues for the last little while. I'd be grateful for any advice.

Firstly: every time I open it, the program wants to update to v.19. I click "Update Now" and it appears to begin downloading, and then the screen changes to "Renew the Update Service" and I click "Start Installation" ... it asks me if I want to allow changes to my hard drive ... I click Yes ... and then .... nothing happens. (see screenshots attached)

Secondly: I painstakingly created a bunch of beautiful photos and uploaded them to the Gallery page. The widget seemed to work fine, I saved it, and then ... it was a blank area of white where the gallery photos should be. Preview showed the same ... no photos. But when I go into the widget, they're all there. (Screenshots attached showing blank Gallery and also inside the widget with the photos in place)

Thirdly: I just opened the program and got this error message (screenshot attached). Anyone have any ideas before I escalate this to tech support? Thanks!

EDIT: Okay, so no comments. That's fine, I've come to expect that. Well, I have another issue now: I can't upload my website changes due to "FTP Error: Timeout was reached." (screenshot attached). I'm at a loss to understand how I have a "timeout" as I'm on Starlink with a 62 mbps download/9 mbps upload speed.

Any ideas? Or is Xara simply breaking down?
