Web designer fails to upload

I have been trying so long to get my Xara Web Designer 11 pages uploaded without success, either through Xara Magix or Filezilla.I can log on to Filezilla but then get - error no such file or directory. Does Magix have a telephone consultant who can look at my site and talk me through this? - HP Pavilion desktop working on Windows 8.1. Many thanks in advance!

@David-Cowan

Hi

There is no telephone support - it is all by ticketing system, this ensures that all support requests are logged and dealt with in a timely and fair manner.

The FileZilla error suggests that the server details and/or folder location has been entered incorrectly.

If your hosting is Xara Online and you have only the one website, setup Filezilla as shown below - you should not need to change any other settings eg do not add folder names under the Advanced tab - the same goes for the Web Designer FTP settings.

I you have multiple sites on the same server/host with different domain names, then you do need to specify the specific folder the site is in.

The above also usually applies for other hosting providers.
