Hi,
A few things here - I would NOT add .vst to the Vintage folder, keep them separated so you can move, modify or delete the .vst that you add. Simply create a folder called plug-ins or something and place all your DLLs there.

Second, simply pasting a .dll for a plug-in is not sufficient, you need to add the plug-in in Music Maker. A quick check of your manual will describe this process nicely. You should have a copy of the manual in the installation directory and on the program DVD.

Third, not having producers addition is a problem. It may be preventing you from adding plug-ins.

Finally, why use auto-tune with Music Maker? If you're using the even the basic version of auto-tune it cost three times as much as music maker. It's a bit like putting a diamond necklace on a hamster.

Why not use the elastic audio that comes with the product... or is that missing from the basic edition?

Thanks NoTurning, I can't seem to add plug-ins, and ElasticAudio isn't on the MMM14 basic version :( Awful...

In a nutshell, version 14 requires the "Producer Edition" for VST support. So, that's the main problem here.

Beyond that I can second what Justin said about putting your external VST plug-ins into their own directory and also about whether it makes any sense to use this plug-in in conjunction with a product like Music Maker. Samplitude, yes. Maybe even Music Studio (basically the smallest version of Samplitude). But Music Maker? Then again, why not?  ;-)

Don't get me started on the producer's edition vs. basic here - I have written in several previous posts the shady way in which Magix made this shift back to an earlier dist. model and suckered many people out of their money.

I wish you the best.
