VPX8 - NB Essential - Split Screen

In the new NB Essential III (I think) - Split screen there seems to be a problem. See below. Using the image on track 3, I just took the default Diagonal Dynamic, ok. From what I understand, when in the interface, the black part will be the track below, track 1 in my case. In the result, the black part is washed out - 1 in the image - except for a slice at the right - 2 in the image. It's as though NB is not taking the entire width of the image (1920) on the one hand, and washing out the other part. With a better image, the mask does not seem to be completely masking the image on track 3 in the right part. I can see both images and the brightness seems to be additive. I get strange results with other presets as well. Anyone else have this problem?

I tried this on both my desktop and Surface Pro - same problem. Tried it with VPX7 and it was fine. Note that once installed, the NB plugins work with older versions.

Here is another example, except this time I took a different preset and modified the line to be diagonal with the upper left as the background track (black part) this time.

Here you can better see the part where one image is supposed to be masked but is not. Look at the car mirror that I circled.

It's a display driver problem. I changed the display on both computers to Compatibility mode or Alternative mode, and it works, but not well. See the jaggies in the image below.

This is a really nice feature, but it's messed up in VPX8, as far as I can tell.

Here is what happens when it works - MEP2016P, and no problem with Display - three images.

What version number is you NB Essentials - I am not getting any Split screen option and, as I posted in your other post, no Dual Booster.

According the the NB Effects Manager, NB Essentials was up to date this morning at version 3.0 Build 160908, the only update was for Titler Pro Express.

I posted the screen shot in the other thread showing Dual Booster.

I have Version 3.0 Build 170221 for Essentials III.

I have NB Titler EX, v1.0 Build 150807. I think that you have a different version of Titler, maybe more sophisticated.

Thanks for that - your Essentials is a newer version - I am puzzled why mine says I am up to date.
