VPX14 update replaces VPX13

As I'm about to install Video Pro X14, the message tells me that my current version (x13) of Video Pro X will be replaced.

This sounds like no going back if there is a problem.

Is there a workaround to have concurrent usable versions of X13 and X14 on the same PC?

Hi Craig

Line 1 of the article linked to states - 'Remove all Microsoft Visual C++ packages' - if you have older versions than the 2015 do not remove them.

The link in the same article takes you to the Microsoft website and there is a a complete package - you need both the x86 and x64 versions.

Ok, done.

I uninstalled all the Visual Studio Redistributables. And then reinstalled all the current/final versions.

Updated Windows, graphics drivers. Played around with VPX14 for a half-hour with an earlier troublesome file (with all the large files in it) and couldn't make it break.

Hopefully, I'm over the hump.
