Vital Synth and Acid Pro Problem

could use some help, I purchased vital synth but I cannot get it to work right in acid. I use keystep midi controller, it works great for all the other soft synths and also the spitefire pianos I bought. but when I try and use vital synth, I cannot hear anything, even when record it, although it registers input in the green midi bar when i strike the keys and also the notes are recorded but I cannot hear tham afterward. I can play the synth by clicking the mouse and keyboard on the screen, but when I record it that way i still cannot hear it. When I close acid and open the vital app, it all works fine in the vital app. does anyone know why it would be doing this? I am very new to daws, and the vital is great, I would really like to use it in acid. thank you!

Hey, sorry for getting to this so late, but it looks like no one else has answered.

This isn't a solution, FYI, just some more info to help you figure out your next step. I have had the same issue, not only with Vital but with a number of other high-end, high-CPU-using plugins, like Sample library hosts. It's not just you, there seems to be something wrong with the core build of Acid. I've been told to file a ticket with support and see what happens, so I'll share that advice with you.

I have noticed that VST3 insturments are not receiving MIDI from Acid Pro and therefore making no sound, I have feeling this could be your issue? The workaround I have found is to use a VST2 instrument. I currently have a support ticket open with Magix about this issue and have my fingers crossed they fix it as as possible.

Thanks! I ended up returning vital and purchasing Analog Lab V instead. It works, but with some synths the midi duplicates the notes in the track and won't play; notes were dropping out until I realized I had to go in there and delete the duplicate note directly on top of the other one and then it plays. Weird. I will say that am also having a lot of problems and bugs since the updates, including projects taking forever to load, and also it feels like AP is now demanding so much CPU power suddenly that it seems like its overheating my laptop. Not mention the plug ins reseting themselves, and also I am now experiencing some weird clips and pops when I render, maybe because its demanding so much CPU power now. Quite annoying. I am wondering about learning to use another DAW. Magix is running a sale to update to Suite, and of course I wanted to do it, but after this update I am not going to.
