'Vita could not find the file' error Magix Samplitude 2013

lloyd094 wrote on 6/15/2014, 8:34 PM

Ever since I bought this product (less than half a year ago), I've had issues regarding midi, though I haven't had the time to work with it until of late - soundpools work fine though.

For background information, my computer runs Windows 8.1, has 16gb of ram, and I have the program installed on drive O, where many resources are on drive M. I have them connected accordingly however.

When I go into the midi editor and try choosing a Vita instrument, I end up getting an error almost exactly like this picture: http://www.magix.info/us/file-not-found-when-trying-to-use-certain-vita.knowledge.999501.html. I've tried to change folders and move locations, but to no avail - I continue to get the error.

What can I do to fix this issue? Or is this something I need to get a refund for? Thanks ahead of time.

Hi

Did you download the extra free soundpools and instruments when you installed the software?

The option is under the Help menu.

Hey John - thanks for the reply!

I have downloaded all the free soundpools and instruments available to me, and the download manager even says they have been installed. Still, the program cannot seem to find certain things.
