Video size: too big (video pro X6)

Hello everyone.

I just started to use this program: I cut some parts of a video and exported it to avi format.

The original size of the video was 126 Mb, the new size is more than 5 gb. I set the same resolution and frames of the original video and it seems very strange to me such a thing.

Can you help me?

Hi,

This is not strange you start with a compressed video 126 Mb and export to a AVI format this is a non compressed format normally 10 times bigger. Use a mp4 H.264 export.

Hi,

When you export a vidéo file near all use MP4 file format H.264 codec. The parameter to use:

1-The size 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720

2- the bitrate betwen 6000 and u 18000 high enr me ans morte quality.

3- the pictural quality 9 and pu to 15.

4-Progressive mode

5- saké frame rate than original movie.

Aldo you can export in MTS or M2T or Avchd this is similarité to the camera format, but this is morte limited to fine a player.
