Hi, video Pro X7 is supposed to load direct x audio plugins which become accessible from a drop down in the audio mixer - they are not there.
Movie Edit 2015 can see the direct x plugins fine so they are installed on my system. Any ideas?

I don't see anything about DirectX plugins either, except in the glossary. Even there it is vague. Magix may have dropped it.
See this thread in the Samplitude Pro forum where they have just noticed that DirectX plugins seem to have been dropped in the new Samplitude as well.
Since I don't have any that have ever worked in a Magix program, I am not concerned.
You might want to ask Magix.

When you installed the Direct X plugins was VPX 7 on the computer or installed later?
I suspect you need to copy, or re-install, the plugins to the appropriate location for VPX 7 to pick them up.
AFAICS MEP 2015 and VPX do not come with any Direct X plugins - they are 'extras' like VST plugins.

My pc has lots of direct x plugins so I'm sure it should seem some of them. Bit of a pain if support has been dropped
