Hi there,

What source material are you using in your video project? What kind of camera is it from? Also, what version of Movie Edit Pro are you using? Thanks.

So, my understanding is that you're importing DVD (i.e. MPEG-2) material that was created externally from an analog source, e.g. via a VHS/DVD recorder combo.

Please try the following: After importing the individual VOB files into Movie Edit Pro, view the video objects in timeline mode. Then, right-click on the video track of the video objects and choose the first option from the context menu that comes up, to create a new frame table for that MPEG object. Do that for each imported VOB file. In the program settings, you will also find a few option to optimize realtime playback performance. Try this and see how you get on.

In the DVD authoring process, make sure your output settings (MPEG encoder settings) match the characteristics of your source material (e.g. same TV standard).
