Video Effects Features aren't working

Craigster wrote on 8/11/2022, 11:55 PM

Crazy, but all of a sudden on VPX14 on my primary Studio PC, I am no longer able to use any Video Effects.

As in all of them have no impact:

- Brightness, Contrast, Gamma, Gradation Curve, etc.

- Color, Color Correction, etc., etc.

Has anyone else had this problem? (1st time in 10 years for me).

Any idea what might have caused this or could explain this behavior?

@Craigster

Hi

Check the following:

  • The Deactivate effects option you see under the Lightning icon bottom right of program monitor (right click) is not checked.

  • The drivers for both the Intel iGPU and Radeon GPU are up to date and that the iGPU is available for use.

  • The Program settings, Device options, Import, Processing, and Export options are identical between your PC's.

Ah, thanks for this!

I have not checked it knowingly, but that is exactly the thing I was hoping to discover! I will check it tomorrow.

Thank you!

Craig

Realizing I never closed the loop. Yes, the "Deactivate Effects" option was checked, and this was the problem. Everything is fine now.

Thank you, John.
