Eighteen years ago, I purchased Vegas Video 3.0. The purchase included a content disc with royalty-free music. I used one of the songs in a video back then that I have since uploaded to Youtube. TuneSat submitted a copyright claim against me. Does anyone know what happened to ownership of that music from the Sonic Foundry days? Does Magix own it? Did TuneSat acquire the music or steal it from them and to extort money on Youtube?

As it happens, I am not concerned as I have absolute proof that I can legally use it. I am wondering whether or Tunesat is legitimate or if they are ripping off Magix (or Sony or someone else).
