Surprisingly the importing of m2ts (AVCHD) format is not supported according to the specs - see here bottom of the page.

I would suggest you use a video converter, I use MovAvi Video Converter - paid for, however very good value, to convert your videos to mp4.

If your files contain multi channel audio then it's a bug which Magix are hopefully fixing.

absolutely right. I paid $1.99 for movAvi on iOS (this app's on sale), pleased with it.
