Vegas 21 don't work with my camera. I am shocked!

I just started the Vegas 21 trial and I'm very disappointed with its quality.

Files that Vegas 13 and Vegas 14 import and play without problems do not play properly in Vegas 21!!!

I can't do my job because the program doesn't read files from my camera.
Why is this happening? Even more so since older versions of the program correctly read files from my camera. Why Version 21 is not working with these?

I have a Canon 5D Mark IV and this is an example file:
Format            : MPEG-4 at 75,4 Mb/s
Length            : 244 MiB for 27s 127 ms

Video #0          : AVC at 73,8 Mb/s
Aspect            : 1920 x 1080 (1.778) at 29.970 fps

Audio #0          : PCM at 1.536 kb/s
Infos             : 2 channels, 48,0 kHz

For God's sake, I had problems reading files in versions of Sony Vegas from 10 years ago.
Why, when I come back to your software after many years, am I still unable to work properly? How your program is unable to read files from such a popular SLR camera as the Canon 5D Mark IV?

What should I do to make Vegas 21 play files from my camera correctly? After doing proxy, it still doesn't work. A red, blank screen is displayed.

Please take my message very seriously because I don't have time. I asked my boss to buy your software. And your software doesn't work... What I have to tell him? I made him choose Magix Vegas over Adobe Premiere Pro. And it turns out to be a bad decision.

@Uzytkownik-Vegasa

Gday, you've posted in the wrong forum. Pop over to the Vegas forum on this link:

All my forum comments are based on or refer to my System 1.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.
