We actually don't even have any proof that there will be a new acid. Just rumors from other users.

I have got confirmation from support that they are working on a new Acid version, but they cannot say how long it takes.

Yep, many of the staff have confirmed the production of Acid Pro 8 but no idea when it will be released.

Good news: New Acid Version will definitely released in the first half of 2018 :-)
