Vegas 14 download

Just got my link today to download Vegas 14 but it's just a download manager. I need a link to the actual install files. I use Revo Uninstaller Pro to monitor all my app installs. Can't do that with a download manager. Is there a link anywhere to the actual install files?

Hello Gary. Nice to see another (?former?) Serif user here.

I think MAGIX always use a download manager now for the installs of their software, simply because the install files are so large. I don't think there is any way of bypassing this although once you have all those files downloaded you do have the option to save them to a drive of your choice. (I use Video Pro X and have all its installation files safely stored.)

I also use Revo Uninstaller Pro and its installation monitor, when I can. But, as you say, in the situation with a download manager, you can't. However, from personal experience with VPX (using a download manager) Revo still monitors the installation and, assuming that Vegas behaves similarly to VPX and actually includes a number of programs, all of which are installed as part of the "package", once everything is finished you will see that Revo lists each separate part of the program individually so that any uninstallation can be easily and quickly achieved.

BTW, there is a dedicated Vegas forum at https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/vegas-movie-studio-forum/

I may see if Magix can provide an install disc.

I know I'm replying to an older post, but it was the first one I came across when looking for the same information. The full installation files are available; check this faq: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-where-can-i-download-vegas-pro-and-other-vegas-software--104782/

In Vegas Movie Studio 14 Download Manager (I am using version 1.3.40.26), click on "Extras" then "Open folder for loaded files"

You should see a list of files that the download manager has downloaded. For many, it will be at:

C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager

Wait for downloading to complete, then copy this to a safe place in case you need to reinstall from scratch.
