VCD format on DVD

MEP 15 download version
I have a number of movies in VCD format to burn to a DVD. Must be VCD format to fit and must be a DVD, not a VCD. Is there any way I can prevent re-encoding as DVD format when burning or will I have to use another DVD authoring program?

Hi macnab

when you click on the Burn Tab, check that you have clicked on Advanced mode. Click on the Burn button, choose more options, and you will find VCD.

Regarding Man 'o Lakes answers, unfortunatelty that would burn a VCD, when my whole pioint is to burn VCD format video files on a DVD, complete with menu.
