Using "Movies on DVD 7"

Knud-Erik wrote on 11/15/2011, 4:21 AM

Months ago I had some conversation with Magix support, because I couldn´t use "Movies on DVD 7" on my computer. A lot of mail, but i didn,t help.

Now I have bought a new computer with Windows 7. I have installed "Movies on DVD 7", and now I can record  VHS videos to my PC, but.

  • All the recording are without good coulours. Only black and white, or some times coulour, but only blue and red in no specifik place on the recording movie.
  • It´s so bad, that I can use it.

Thise time I hope you can help me.

If so, what program can i then use to open the file "mxv", so I can see the recording movies on PC.

I can save but not see.

Best Regards

Knud-Erik Aaen

Hi

I have seen this happen when you try to record or view a NTSC video on a PAL system.

Check the recording format is set to to the same as the video source?

Hi

Are the drivers for the video capture device up to date, and which one are you using?

Have you tried capturing some video using another video capture program to see if the problem is with the video capture device?

Hi

Is thise top item on this page the converter you bought?  http://www.magix.com/gb/accessories/

If so try updating the drivers from the download link below the description.

Searching Google will find you alternative software to try the USB converter.
