Using m4a files in Sound Forge 11

Good afternoon,

I'm unable to import files with the m4a extension. I'm using Sound Forge 11 and I'm unable to add m4a files to edit them.

Could you help me with a solution?

You likely need an AAC codec. I always installed 'Quicktime Alt' or 'Quicktime Lite' when I needed a AAC codec.
First though you could try changing the file's extension to .mp4 and see if that works.
