May I use my program version on more than one computer? I have it installed on my PC, but should sometimes have good use for it even on my laptop.

You've posted this to the "other products" area of the forum. So, exactly which product do you have? If it is one of the Magix Vegas range please read this pinned post and follow the advice given there.
Theoretically, Magix products can be installed on as many computers as you wish but they can only be registered and activated (i.e., used) on a maximum of two simultaneously. It is possible to deactivate "unused" installations to activate on another computer but there is a limit to the number of times this can be done per month, I understand.
One caveat: if you have "365" version of any product it can only be activated on ONE computer.
