USB problem

Hello!

I have an Acer Aspire 8930G laptop with Windows Vista 32 byte operating system.

I succesfully installed Magix Video Saver ( or video easy) version 7.

Although, when I connect the USB video converter to my laptop the cursor freezes.

Same happens with all the other USB ports.

Windows can`t find any problems with the USB ports.

I have rebooted the computer several times.

I had the same problem with another similar product, Konig USB Video Grabber. Even restoring the computer to factory defaults didn`t help with that product. I haven`t done it again with Magix since it takes half of my life!

Is buying a new computer the only solution??

Hi

. . . . Windows Vista 32 . . . .

I would suspect that with an old operating system like Vista this is a driver issue?

Have you updated the Magix USB device driver? If not try the appropriate driver from here.

Similarly for the Konig device you need the correct drivers from here.

HTH

I went to the site according to your link.

I clicked Tools and others --> USB Video Capture Driver (Red/White) --> Download --> chose the Finnish flag --> entered the code and clicked Download --> opened the file with WinRAR archiver --> clicked setup.exe --> Allow --> Magix USB- Videowandler 2-Installshield Wizard-window came up and I installed the program and rebooted the computer.

The problem still persists.
