Upgrade not working

Using Windows 11

This is now the 2nd time this has happened. I purchase an upgrade for Photostory as on starting the application I get, a New Version Available. This is the 2nd time this has happened and I'm still waiting a response from support from the first time! Customer support and SQA for Magix products are really going down the drain.

@Nigel-Aves

Hi

What is the Photostory version number installed as found under Help, About?

If it is 21.0.1.101, try temporarily disabling your antivirus Folder protection/Ransomware feature and install the update.

@johnebaker

According to "Help / About Magix", I am running 21.01.101 (UDP3)

I've just noticed why the upgrade is not working!

According to the "Upgrade Dialog", the version I'm trying to upgrade to is 21.0.1.74 << and that pretty well explains it, and I should have noticed this the first time I bought this "upgrade".

This is the download link sent in the confirmation email:

Program download: https://dl03.magix.net/photostorydeluxe2022_dlm_hsgwud.exe

So basically I bought the same un-working upgrade twice!!

Nigel.
