Hi,

there are several possible reasons for that....But 90% it is your firewall or antivirus scanner. Some scanners block everything that is not on the whitelist, and some ven do not have that. I know that there were reasonable problems with Norton 2010 (fault of Norton)...deactivate your scanner/firewall and it will work.

Of course sometimes there might be no update available as you have the latest version.

True....I had also problems with the antivirus scanner / firewall combi.

Wish that was it! First McAfee has FULL Permission for that and I turned it off, same issue. The programs says "Cannot connect to the sever. Please connect to the Internet" I AM Connected to the Internet, NO FIRE WALL is blocking it...
