Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352)

"Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352)"

New/old/simple/complex, doesn't matter.

I've been a user since this was a Sony product. Never had this problem. Currently using pro 21 build 208, because 300 or 314 with do nothing but stop responding when I load it, so I went back to 208. I can at least edit and sometimes render with 208.

Apparently many users over many versions have had a problem with crashing up trying to start a render. I can edit, save, open, etc. without incident. I can sometimes have it render, but there is no one thing that helps ,me do it. I thought I figured out a work-around the other night, but now it won't work trying this even. I've tried about every Googled and Magix fix I can find.

It occurs when I click on "Render As". Very seldom does the render box popup allowing me to choose type of render file/codec, but when it does, I can render without issue. and continue opening other projects and render them for a while, then suddenly it will occur again. click on "render as" and get the "Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352)"

Might it be an issue with .NET framework? I tried to "repair, uninstall, re-install, upgrade to 4.8 and 8.0, but seems to be stuck on version 4.5.2 in my PC.

I've repaired my .NET framework, tried to uninstall and reinstall, PC says I have 4.5.2 installed, but it will not allow me to uninstall to reinstall another version. I've updated to .NET 4.8 and tried with same results.  I've updated to .NET 8.0 with same results.
Even after all of the .NET repair and update I've done, the .NET repair tool still tells me that "Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2" is installed.

Surely there is a real fix for this Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352) since it's been a long time issue.

@Neil-Foster

Neil, you're in the wrong user forum. The Vegas forum is here:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/

All my forum comments are based on or refer to my System 1.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.

Thanks. Thought I was in the right place. These forums are confusing to me for some reason.
