Unable to open acid music studio files

I have been recording with acid studio 11 on a lap top.All my track files I have saved to a external hard drive. I recently reinstalled acid to a tower pc running Windows 10 the same as the laptop. My acid files will not open from the external hard drive in the acid 11window,a message appears stating files cannot be found. Wav files on the external hard drive open ok. Can anybody help. Thanx

P.S Also today the icons are not showing the Acid logo just white blank.

@stan-marshall Are you getting an option the search for the missing files and then select the folder on your external hard drive?

Does each computer assign the same drive letter to the external drive. It's not unusual for these to be different with different computers.
