Unable to cut or trim a portion of the video

Hello ...

I am trying the following....need help:

1. I have two DV tape videos which are in MPEG format and would like to attach them as continuous movie
2. I would also like to trim or cut some parts which I do not need to be part of the video
3. Would like to insert some title slides or static images ...
Please let me know how I can do these .....using Movie Edit Pro 15

are you really trying to do something?
It sounds to me that you might need some overall basic training.
The helpers in this community would like to have some more details about where you really stand and then someone might be able to guide you through the further steps. Nobody could repeat here all the instructions from the handbook that you requested above.

Are your videos on the PC now or do you have a problem with this step?

Answer 2 (6/1/2009):All this can be done now. Drag your videos from the media pool into the timeline and start editing. Search the index of the handbook for further advise, e.g. Scene Recognition etc. Start with a few tests, until you will be sure about how it works. If you feel that you have spoiled it all, delete everything in the timeline and fill the media pool again with the original (!, its still untouched) material....
