Tried to buy a Codec got a Code but it doesn't work

Tried to edit an iPhone 14 video. It demanded I purchase a Codec to Continue HVEC Codec.

It looked for a computer ID. I used the number in the last purchase of the Software Magix Edit Pro Plus.

It didn't accept it. It skipped on to credit card payment.

I paid and I got a code but it doesn't work.

Don't know what to do. Held up now in no man's land.

Very frustrating

Any suggestions?

@Fergal1

Hi

. . . . It looked for a computer ID . . . .

There are 2 potential causes:

  1. If you still have both MEP 2015 and 2021 installed on the computer - attempting to activate the codec in wrong version?

  2. Not copy and pasting the whole code, which should begin with HEVCIC- followed by 5 groups of 5 numbers separated by hyphens, into the HEVC activation dialog that opens when trying to add the HEVC video clip to the timeline.

If neither of the above contact Magix by email to infoservice@magix.net giving details of the purchase etc.
