Travel Map export animation has an offset and is unusable

Alan-Wade wrote on 6/3/2023, 10:50 PM

Purchased MS23 with Travel Maps (5.0.0.481) included. I can create animations and play them in the Travel Map tool, and they look great! However, when I export and play the mp4 file, the animation is shifted so that the avatar (the center of the avatar) is located in the bottom right-hand pixel of the video. Anyone heard of this before? Any ideas for how to fix?

Hi

I cannot replicate this issue.

Can you post a screenshots of the exported video and the Travel Maps Animation and Finish dialogs options.

Are you manually setting the start/stop locations or using a GPS file?

I'm manually setting the start/stop locations.

Hi

The settings in Travel Maps look fine.

What is the video player you are using? Does the exported video play OK in Windows Films & TV and VLC ?

@johnebaker

It plays fine in everything I've tried (VLC, MediaPlayer, Quicktime). The issue is that, when the video is created for export, the center point is shifted to the lower right. It is the same on any video player. (When I view the animation in TravelMaps, it is properly centered and works great.)

Hi

I would suggest you:

Contact Parallels support and ask them if Travel maps is fully supported - the program is not in their list of Magix programs tested.

Raise a Support ticket with Magix - link is at the top of the page, select your product and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Contact/Email Support then work through the dialogs.
