Transfer not working.

When using the Rescue Your Videotapes software, I'm getting the following message: The recording device does not support the audio sample rate you have set (48000Hz). Please switch to Advanced Mode and then select User defined as the record format setting. The dialog for setting the record format will not open. Select one of the record format setting here: 96000, 960000 (Hz). I followed each step but when concluding could not find the 96000. How can I solve this problem? Thanks.

Hi

Check what the Samplerate frequency is set to for the sound card in the PC - this is a Windows setting and is found in the Sound settings option eg these are my settings in Windows 11 (10 should be similar)

Thanks for your reply. So I need to change the soud setting to 96000 when transferring the videos and then change back to original number?

Hi

In trying to recreate your issue using Video Easy (Rescue your video tapes) I have found that the error message is itself in error.

The audio sample rate has nothing to do with the problem, it is the Video bitrate that is the issue

In the Advanced view of the recording dialog click the Recording quality option highlighted in blue in the image below and from the dropdown highlighted in red in the dialog box that opened, set the Bitrate to 192 or 380 (these both work for me)
