Track Sync in Music Studio 2014

Hi,

I have imported a multitrack midi file. I then duplicated the drum track and assigned a Vita drumkit to the new track.

On playback the drumtrack is not in sync with the midi tracks assigned to Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth.

Am I missing something simple?

Quad Pentium with integrated soundcard running WIndows 7 64 bit and WDM Drivers, ASIO will not work with the Wavetable Synth.

On investigating further, I've answered my own newbie question. The midi tracks need assigning to an instrument before they can be mixed, otherwise they will not appear in the final composition. I added a SF2 VST player to each track, setting the appropriate Instrument and all was well with sync too!
