My 2012 website home page is coming up with the message - You Need Adobe Flash Player. I installed the latest version today, restarted the PC, and still cannot navigate the site or load pdfs, video or pictures. The page is at - werners1.magix.net. I have a 64 bit HP with Windows 10 and an Intel i5 processor.

Adobe Flash has now been deprecated as a security risk and I think ALL browsers now refuse to allow it to run. So installation of it on your machine will not affect the fact that any user's web browser, including yours, will automatically block it.

Looking at the website HTML I can see that the site has been created to the old HTML 4.1 standard which was replaced by the current HTML 5 standard back in 2014.
The new standard as @emmrecs has stated deprecated Flash Player thus rendering Flash and Shockwave Flash video and animations obsolete.
To bring the site up to current HTML standard you need to upgrade your Web Designer to the current version, however this may mean that you have to rebuild the site from scratch if the old project file cannot be utilised/converted to the new format.
Once you have done this inserting videos, images and PDF's is as easy as drag and drop and the correct HTML code will be generated to enable these to be seen and accessed in modern browsers.
