Title of full film --- program 'movies on DVD 9' (Filme auf DVD 9)

A title can be created without problem on a video sequence with the title editor. However, can I create a title page with text on some background surface and include it into the movie for few seconds? Or import a still image with text and let it run for few seconds? Main motivation: I want to avoid having to record such thing with my video cam but create it within the Magix program.

If you create a gap in your Project between video or picture files on the Timeline, then it will display as a black screen.

You can add a text object in this gap, creating the text on a blank black screen.

This is the easiest way.

If you want a coloured background or pattern/image. Then simply create the background placeholder in an image creation software package and then insert it as a normal object.

You can then add your text on top.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer. However, now I don't know how to create the gap. When I just delete a szene in the TimeLine or cut it (so it is in the paste buffer) there is no gap created. The szenes join immediately together.
Any hint for that ?
