. . . recordig the video is blue . . .

More information is needed:

What is the video source ie camera, VCR etc?

How are you connecting the device to the computer ie are you using a USB video converter (include make model), type of leads used etc?

Have you fully shutdown the computer, restarted the computer and tried again?

Did anything change on the computer between yesterday and today eg new programs installed?

Thankyou for the answere.

I am new here and I did not know about this duplication. I thought one was to the company and the one with the "Forum" flip was to the forum only. Sorry, won't happend again.

Nothing have changed on the computer from yesterday. no new programs or installations. I simply swiched of the computer yesterday evening and swiched it on to day.

I am using a Samsung sv-2353x vireo player/recorder.

I have tried to restart the computer with no results.

Connecting is via USB videoconverter that came wit the set.

Hi

No problem, the entire forum is provided by Magix for Magix software users to help each other and discuss Magix related issues etc.

Assuming you are using a SCART to RCA connector lead to connect the video to the converter, as shown below,  check that the SCART plug is pushed in correctly - some occassionally they work loose over time and disconnect some of the pins yet they look as though they are fully home in the socket.

Note your USB device may not be the same as the one shown

Also give the VCR  a full restart, ie remove power plug from power socket,  if you have not done so.

HI again.

The USB dvice is similare with the one on your picture.

I have tried everything of what you are mentioning in your last answere.

I might as well tell you that I am an electronic engineer so I am familiare with all this hardware problems.

It seems to me that there must be something else.
