There is no calendar, database, or file information feature on the trial version. Why?
Because, like all Magix programs Trial versions, not all the features of the purchased program are available, sorry! Once the program is purchased so you have a serial key and can then register it, those "missing" features will be available.

Ok, have purchased Photo Manager Deluxe and on trying to add a folder to the database, after hours of analyzing files, it gives the error "No golbal memory in MyAllocGlobalPtr for type 30. The program hangs and waits for me to click OK and then reports another one with the same error. I am not working with raw files. These are all formats that are accepted. Help please.
Sorry to hear about that problem! I'll happily confess it's not one I've ever encountered before.
What is the spec of your computer? If you tell us all about its hardware we may have a clue as to why you are seeing that message.
If no other user is able to offer any guidance to you I think you need to create a Support Ticket, starting at this page, making sure to complete everything requested on each subsequent page and always clicking the option to Ask Support if this is offered, often at the foot of any page.

The error message would suggest there are some unsupported image formats, eg RAW, .heic etc image files, in the folder you are scanning.
Photo Manager supports some RAW file formats - see the list here - scroll down to the section shown below for the link to the full list
