the serial number i received for magix music maker 17 premium via e-mail by direct download does not work. i enter in the number but the (x) by the the text box does not change to let me use it. has anyone else had this issue??

If it feels like this is a code error (meaning you have verified the code you have entered) then you should call Magix or use the LiveChat tool from the support page.
