The media pool will not allow a video clip on a DVD to be dragged

I am dragging video clips from a raw data dvd. After some editing where there were short deleted segments, I tried to drag another cip but I keep getting the deleted segments from the previous work.

I assume the deleted clips are in the clipboard. I know the dvd clips are still Ok so it must be the path in the file pool that is corrupt or confused.

I think it is the way MEP references the files to be edited. You may be better off to copy the files onto your hard drive then pull them for edit. MEP does not copy the file when you drag and drop so if it is on a removable media it may not reference the file properly.
