the image is green

I want to extract fragments of a movie but when import it to the program magix films the image is green and alone the audio is heard. What do I do badly? How can I solve it?

What kind of source material are you using (file format, origin of the material) and do you have the suitable video codec for it installed on your system. That is a question you will have to answer for yourself before you import any kind of material into a video software. If you don't have any idea as to the codec and the installation status on your system, use the free codec analyzer GSpot and feed such a sample video clip into it:

Also, what video program and version are you using? Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot of useful information in your initial enquiry.
