Could I get a new HEVC activation code?

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.
You've posted under the "Other Products" heading. Which Magix video product do you have?
Activation codecs, like that for HEVC, are supplied direct from Magix. So, assuming you need a new one because you have made some change to your computer hardware you need to email infoservice@magix.net, giving full details of your original purchase and the reasons for needing a new code and ask that they send you one.

Why hasn't HEVC been made part of the program for Magix Movie Edit Pro. It's strange when the HEVC program has to be begged from you separately, if e.g. the system has been updated with e.g. a new processor, memories or I have had to reinstall the entire operating system. I have other video editors where HEVC is part of the program. Such programs are a pleasure to use. Once you have installed the program and entered the activation code, the program is IMMEDIATELY ready to use without any strange and obscure gimmicks.

@Former user HEVC is patented and you need to pay license fees to use it. If it were included in the software with unlimited installs the price for Movie Edit Pro would be probably be higher. If you buy a TV with HEVC support its price is also higher due to the license fees.

I don't recall having to pay for any codecs with MMS 2024. Activation was necessary, IIRC, but no money changed hands, even for AV1.

AV1 is an open source codec. There is no fee involved.

With Magix Movie Studio the HEVC codec is an additional option. Video Pro X, the 'Big brother version' if you like has the codec included in the additional price of the program. It's not uncommon for proprietary codecs that have been developed by different companies to have to be bought if not used with their own editing offering or for a video editing package to have it included, but those often have the charge of the codec added to the included price of the product.
