The activation of MPEG-2 Codec failed

When trying to activate the MPEG codec I get the message:
The activation of MPEG-2 Codec failed. If you are using the program as a guest, please repeat the activation procedure with administrator rights.
I am using Windiws 7 as an administrator.

Help!

On the program icon/short cut, right click it and clikc on run as admin. Try that.
