If extreme photostory handles the storyline editor like other Magix programs you should be able to shrink the text line (grab the right side of the text in the text track and pull it to the left so it us under the picture you want the text to apply to). Not sure if that makes sense or not. The timeline gives you a graphic view of the order and length of time a photo is displayed. The text and sound tracks line up to reference the same time period as the picture. So the text track should line up vertically below (or above) the picture track. The transition effects overlap the picture files to allow for seamless transitions between pictures.....but now I am just rambling.
