Subtitles partly outside view after conversion

I exported a video in the DV-Avi format and then converted that using Any Video Converter into MPEG-2 format (to reduce the file size). After the conversion, the lower rows of the subtitles were no longer visible.

I thought all the information shown in the Magix editing window would be retained in any format conversions. Any advice would be appreciated.

Check your output screen resolution. Sounds like you are displaying it in larger format then the original.

If you right-click on the display window and choose "resolution presets" it allows you to set the display resolution. Also when you export your movie you can change the aspect ratio for the finish display setting. This will affect the display size of the movie when you play it on a TV. 4:3 is a standard setting 16:9 is HD.
